Ediciones Cálamo recupera "Alianza y condena" con una lúcida introducción del profesor Luis García Jambrina, profundo conocedor de la obra del autor zamorano. Escrito a lo largo de unos siete años, mientras Claudio Rodríguez ejerció como lector en las universidades de Nottingham y Cambridge, "Alianza y condena" se publicó por primera vez en 1965 y fue Premio de la Crítica.
