  • Juan Gutiérrez Gili (1894-1939) desarrolló una intensa actividad periodística como corresponsal en Madrid de El Correo Catalán y La Vanguardia. Muy pronto se hizo un discreto lugar en los ambientes vanguardistas de los años veinte, gracias a Primer libro de versos (1918), Surco y estela (1925), y a sus Habituales colaboraciones en revistas como Ultra, Alfar, Tableros y la Gaceta Literaria. Mantuvo estrecha amistad con el pintor uruguayo Rafael Barradas, y dejó inéditas unas cuantas piezas dramáticas que ahora ven la luz
