  • Juana I, mal llamada la Loca (1479-1555), fue la primera reina de España y la más poderosa de su tiempo. Unió sin guerras los reinos de Castilla, Aragón y Navarra. La leyenda de su “locura de amor” fue inventada para desautorizar su obra política: implantar, frente al absolutismo moderno, la monarquía en relación, gobernando con su hijo Carlos V durante 40 años. El amor entró así en la política, ocupando su lugar en la cima de la organización del Estado. Con la frase: “Yo tengo mucho amor a todas las gentes” empezó su discurso a los Comuneros en 1520.
