  • En 1925 el escritor Boris Pilniak es invitado a visitar las minas de radio en el País de Perm. Llega a Chormoz con el primer vuelo, visita las instalaciones. Tiene un encargo del Partido: debe escribir un libro glorificando los logros del Estado de los soviets. Pilniak nos introduce en un mundo surrealista, no tanto por penetrar lo inconsciente como lo hacían los surrealistas de París, sino por juntar elementos dispares. Evidentemente, por otro lado, lo de elementos dispares juntos se puede considerar una de las realidades de Rusia, ante todo de aquellos tiempos.
