  • Carlos Germán Belli (Lima, 1927) fue periodista y profesor de Literatura Hispanoamericana de la Universidad de San Marcos de Lima y obtuvo en dos ocasiones la beca para la creación poética de la Fundación Guggenheim. Ha publicado los libros de poesía: Poemas (1958), Dentro & fuera(1960), ¡Oh, Hada Cibernética! (1961), El pie sobre el cuello (1964), Por el monte abajo (1966), Sextinas y otros poemas (1970), En alabanza del bolo alimenticio (1979), Canciones y otros poemas (1979), El buen mudar (1987), En el restante tiempo terrenal (1988), Bajo el sol de la medianoche rojo (1990), ¡Salve, Spes! (Lima, 2000;Carmona, Sevilla, 2003), En las hospitalarias estrofas (Lanzarote, 2001;edición ampliada Santiago de Chile, 2002), La miscelánea íntima (Pre-Textos, Valencia, 2003) y El alternado paso de los hados (Pre-Textos, Valencia, 2007). Todos ellos reunidos en Los versos juntos 1946-2008 con prólogo de Mario Vargas Llosa (Sevilla, 2008). Ha escrito también un volumen de crónicas de viaje, El imán (2003) y, junto a Javier Sologuren, ha traducido Poesía italiana del siglo XX (2002). Miembro de la Academia Peruana de la Lengua, recibió el Premio Nacional de Poesía (1962), y el Premio Iberoamericano de Poesía Pablo Neruda (2006).
