  • Ezequiel Moreno nació en Alfaro (La Rioja) el 9 de abril de 1848. Profesó como agustino recoleto el 22 de setiembre de 1865. El 2 de junio de 1871 se ordenó de sacerdote en Manila y en Filipinas continuó hasta 1885. De 1885 a 1888 fue prior de la comunidad de Monteagudo. Desde 1888 hasta su enfermedad vivió en Colombia, donde restauró la comunidad recoleta, inauguró una nueva época misionera y rigió la diócesis de Pasto. Fue muy devoto del Sagrado Corazón y un esforzado defensor de la Iglesia. Murió en Monteagudo el 19 de agosto de 1906. Fiesta: 19 de agosto
