  • Ot, fill d’Artau i Llúcia, comtes del Pallars, nasqué a la segona meitat del segle XI. L’any 1087, apareix com a ardiaca d’Urgell. I ja és el bisbe electe d’Urgell, el 9 d’agost de 1095. Governà amb gran zel l’església urgellesa dins la línia de la reforma gregoriana. Fou zelós de la Treva de Déu i afavorí la creació de confraries i germandats a les esglésies. Feu una proclama a tots els fidels del bisbat, per tal de bastir una catedral nova, que és l’actual. Socorregué els pobres i necessitats. Morí el 30 de juny de 1123. Festa: 7 de juliol
