  • Jeanne-Emilie de Villeneuve, nacida en Toulouse (1811), tuvo una infancia feliz, rodeada del amor de los suyos y de comodidades, aspirando a la vida austera y asumiendo el dolor por la muerte de su madre y hermana. No pensó en ser fundadora y siempre le acompañó el amor a los pobres, por quienes dejó la casa paterna contagiando su amor a Jesús y su ardor misionero a sus Hermanas, a quienes pronto envió al Senegal y Gabón. Renunció a ser Superiora General para quedarse con la Autoridad que le daba su bondad. En plena epidemia de cólera, muere en Castres (1854), cuna de la Congregación.
