The aim of this book is twofold:  firstly, to revalue the forgotten archaeological heritage of Iberia: small precious objects that were not considered at the time and are languishing in different institutions, or that disappeared forever in tragic circumstances. Two silver  finger-rings and a pair of gold earrings whose nexus is the presence of an image of a woman. From iconography, the authors approach their meanings, which evoke different female images known throughout the history of the Mediterranean. Secondly, from the technological point of view, they recover the earrings, which were lost many years ago, thanks to the graphic and textual documentation that has been preserved. In this way, they contribute to a better understanding of our Iberian ancestors.
