  • En 2017 el Ayuntamiento de Donostia propuso a la Escuela de Arquitectura de la UPV/EHU que planteara estrategias sobre cómo repensar y rehacer el área de Sagües. La Escuela decidió que lsu aportación se realizaría de diferentes formas. En primer lugar, propuso trabajar el área a través de conceptos y fundamentos teóricos y prácticos de cada asignatura de la mención. En segundo lugar, propuso que la zona de Sagües también fuese trabajada en el marco de la doble titulación de arquitectura habilitada entre las escuelas de arquitectura de Donostia y Burdeos. Por último, propuso que fuesen recopilados los proyectos de fin de carrera que hubiesen intervenido sobre el entorno de Sagües.
