  • Hubert Nyssen nació en Bélgica en 1925, y se naturalizó francés en 1976. Escritor y editor, fundó en 1978 la editorial Actes Sud, caracterizada no sólo por su importante implantación y su identidad gráfica, sino también por la apertura de su catálogo, con cerca de 5.500 títulos, a las literaturas extranjeras. En la actualidad preside su Conseil de Surveillance.
