  • Vítor Magalhaes nació en la isla de Madeira, en pleno Atlántico, en el año 1971. Estudió Bellas Arteas en Funchal, Lisboa, Leipzig y Cuenca, donde se desplazó por primera vez como Erasmus en el año 1998. Terminó la carrera en la Universidad de Madeira en 1999 y la tesis doctoral en 2007, en la facultad de Bellas Artes de Cuenca, Universidad Castilla-La Mancha. Desde 1996 participa en exposiciones y en proyectos artísticos colectivos en Portugal y España. Trabaja actualmente en las áreas del vídeo, fotografía, super-8 y arte sonoro.
