Desde la microhistoria se narra e interpreta la historia de la construcción cultural europea bajo el modelo del racionalismo moderno y la vanguardia artística, cuando vuelve, tras la victoria de los aliados después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial y en el marco de la Guerra Fría, con la intervención publicitaria del sistema político y económico norteamericano.
