Se trata probablemente del libro más armonioso de Rafael Espejo. Rafael Espejo nació en 1975 en Palma del Río (Córdoba). Es autor de los poemarios Círculo vicioso (Premio Federico García Lorca, 1995), El vino de los amantes (Premio Hiperión, 2001), Nos han dejado solos (Premio Emilio Prados, 2008), Hierba en los tejados (Premio Ojo Crítico de RNE, 2015), Criaturas del momento (Premio Francisco Brines de Poesía, 2023). En Madriguera (2018) se recoge una selección personal de su obra. Ocasionalmente ejerce de crítico literario, articulista de opinión, gestor cultural y profesor de escritura creativa. Vive en Algodonales.
