  • La muerte de George Floyd a manos de un oficial de policía el 25 de mayo de 2020 supuso un punto de inflexión en el movimiento Black Lives Matter. Surgida en 2013, esta corriente en defensa de los derechos de la comunidad negra fue ganando reconocimiento y apoyo nacional e internacional hasta encabezar multitudinarias manifestaciones en plena pandemia del COVID-19. Durante aquellas semanas, el artista visual y activista social Jonathan Moller recorrió las calles de Denver, Boston, Washington y Nueva York siguiendo el rastro de las protestas y tomó cientos de fotografías de los carteles, grafitis, pancartas y murales que estas dejaron. Las fotografías seleccionadas y los textos que las acompañan atestiguan su calado, aseguran la permanencia de sus mensajes e invitan al lector a reflexionar sobre su contribución personal al racismo sistémico que existe desde hace siglos en todo el mundo.
