  • El trabajo de la artista colombiana Johanna Calle reivindica una práctica distinta del dibujo en el que la fotografía juega un papel central en su proceso creativo. A partir de antiguas fotografías analógicas anónimas, recopiladas con el cuidado de una etnógrafa, Johanna Calle realiza lo que ella llama “dibujos fotográficos”. Al gesto que desencadenó la toma fotográfica, la artista suma los suyos: poco a poco va borrando los elementos presentes en la imagen original con el objeto de hacer surgir delicadamente los signos de una historia soterrada.
