  • Fallecido inesperadamente mientras se preparaba esta antología, en la que la selección de los poemas es esencialmente suya, Mario Míguez (1962-2017) es, como se dice en el prólogo, el secreto de unos pocos. Y lo es no porque su poesía contenga oscuridades innecesarias o virtuosismos formales más o menos difíciles de seguir, sino porque la apreciación de su verdadero sentido requiere del lector una íntima participación que excluye de modo natural a quienes sólo busquen distracciones o deslumbramientos. Lo que no quiere decir más que lo que dice: que conocer su aventura, su honda aventura espiritual, requiere acompañarle en ella, vivirla con él. Esta poesía, excepcional en tantos sentidos, no pide más, pero tampoco se conforma con menos.
