  • El fotógrafo donostiarra Ricardo Martín (1882–1936) es una de las grandes figuras olvidadas de la fotografía española de la primera mitad del siglo xx. Con su cámara captó la vida de San Sebastián en plena Belle Époque; una ciudad cosmopolita en la que retrató, entre otros, a Sorolla, Chaplin, Azorín, Unamuno o Pío Baroja. Sus reportajes deportivos se publicaron en revistas italianas o suizas. También se preocupó por temas sociales, como demuestran las fotografías que realizó en torno a la Guerra de África: imágenes de soldados embarcando o las manifestaciones en contra de la contienda.
