  • Javier Vallín nació en Colunga (Asturias) en 1953. Sus primeros poemas, de temática social «por la libertad», vieron la luz en publicaciones clandestinas. En su dilatada trayectoria literaria figuran títulos como Desnudo, Palabra defendida, Centro de azabache, La última cena o La sonrisa de los necios. Ha obtenido distintos premios, entre otros el Amantes de Teruel, Villa de Mancha Real, Río Ungría de la Diputación de Guadalajara o Universidad de Zaragoza por el presente volumen La noche sin fronteras, y su obra poética también está presente en diversas antologías, así como en libros de pintura, escultura y arquitectura. Ha sido columnista de opinión en los diarios asturianos El Comercio y La Nueva España y crítico de arte tanto en la prensa diaria como en revistas especializadas.
