  • Ramon Llull, también conocido como Raimundo Lulio, nació en Palma de Mallorca sobre el 1232. Hijo de una familia noble cercana a Jaime I, comenzó escribiendo canciones pícaras acordes a su actitud. Tras una serie de visiones, su vida dio un vuelco hacia la religiosidad y la rectitud, legando todas sus posesiones a su familia para dedicarse íntegramente a predicar y a formarse en teología. Su obra se orientó hacia la poesía, filosofía y religión. Falleció en 1316, finalizando uno de sus viajes.
