  • Platón nació el 427 a. C., se desconoce a ciencia cierta si en Egina o en Atenas, ciudad donde falleció en el año 347 a. C. En el 387 a. C. fundó la Academia de Atenas, institución que perduraría a lo largo de más de 900 años, y donde acudirían como alumnos otros grandes filósofos como Aristóteles.
